QLD Wildlife Heroes

Most Australian wildlife rescue and care is done by hardworking volunteers.

Wildlife volunteers in QLD are under stress due to the current bushfires and the extreme heat events impacting many animals across the state.

The Wildlife Heroes project will ensure wildlife volunteers get the help they need, so they can continue providing the best care for our amazing native wildlife.

The Wildlife Heroes project in QLD will initially assist in funding for emergency response for bushfires and extreme heat events.
